There have been rumors about a feud between Alex Cooper, the host and creator of the Call Her Daddy podcast, and Alix Earle, another influencer and the founder of the Reale Actives skincare brand. But now, we’re finally getting to hear from the two women involved in the feud. And what they’re saying paints a complicated picture of their relationship and why they don’t get along.

But how did the feud start? Were Alex Cooper and Alix Earle ever friends? And how did it all escalate to passive-aggressive posts on social media? Here’s everything we know.

How Did Alex Cooper & Alix Earle’s Drama Start?

Cooper addressed the feud in a TikTok video on Monday, April 14, where she explained that she was embarrassed to be responding to this kind of drama, but after so many comments, DMs, and tags, she decided it was time to make a statement.

“Alix Earle, hey girl, the passive-aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things. I gotta call you out here,” Cooper said. “You’re gonna need to get specific and just say what you gotta say about me. There’s no NDA, no one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people, and just say it yourself. What’s the beef?”

She also said she was tired of Earle using “fake drama to distract” and that she would not participate. “I know what happened, and so do you,” she said. “So talk, unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth, I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me.”

Beef confirmed. But we still have no clue about what exactly happened between the two. But there are clues. In August 2023, Cooper launched the Unwell Network, a media company focusing on “unique voices that embrace social challenges and personal insecurities through honest conversation.”

Earle was one of the first big names to sign with Unwell, with Cooper saying at the time that Earle had a unique presence that captivated audiences. “I feel honored to be at a place in my career where I can pass along knowledge and advice for a new generation of creators to flourish,” Cooper said in a statement back then.

But the honeymoon didn’t even last two years. In February 2025, there was already speculation that the two were on the outs after Earle didn’t attend Unwell’s Super Bowl party in New Orleans, even though she was reportedly in the city with then-boyfriend, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios. Then, according to Deuxmoi, during an episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, “Alex got Alix very drunk and made her answer a bunch of personal questions about her and [Braxton Berrios]’ relationship that made Alix uncomfortable.” Later that same month, Unwell dropped Earle’s “Hot Mess” podcast.

Since then, Earle has been dropping hints that things behind the scenes were “a hot mess,” commenting on the subject on TikTok repeatedly.

According to TMZ, there’s no specific reason for their feud, just a dynamic that shifted and led the two of them not to see eye to eye when it came to business. Some even speculated Earle’s ex-boyfriend, Braxton Berrios, could have had something to do with the feud, as Earle and Berrios broke up in December 2025. But according to the outlet, the main issue was business. Especially the podcast issue.

Sources told the outlet that Earle felt like Unwell wasn’t offering her what she was worth once her contract expired. However, other sources indicate that despite a strong fanbase, the podcast numbers just weren’t there to justify the money Earle wanted.

Earle herself responded to Cooper’s request, though once again, without any of the details we would have wanted. Instead, she posted a video of her reaction to seeing Cooper’s video, captioned “Shoutout to my friends for knowing I would want this moment captured.”

As Cooper tells the camera, “What’s the beef?” Earle says, “OK” with a smile. The video then cuts to her grabbing her phone and telling her friends, “That just literally made my morning.” No details, but perhaps we’ll get them sometime soon? Earle had promised she was “on it,” right after the video dropped, after all.
